Metro Offices’ New Dupont Circle Design by Cooper Carry

Design Offers Forward Thinking Co-Working Space

Internationally recognized design firm Cooper Carry announced today that it has completed the interior design of Metro Offices’ Dupont Circle office space, located at 1250 Connecticut Avenue in Washington, DC.

Metro Offices, which features flexible offices and workspaces in nine locations throughout the Washington metropolitan region, recently opened this newest location on May 1st one block from Dupont Circle in the amenity-rich Golden Triangle neighborhood. The building features the City Tap House restaurant, a fully-equipped, innovative fitness center, bank, day spa and salon, and is conveniently located one-block from the Dupont Circle Metro station.

“The design of Metro Offices’ Dupont Circle location melds traditional with contemporary, attracting the broadest demographic of clients,” said Natalie Hnatiw, Interior Design Studio Manager, Cooper Carry.“Creating a work space for every work style is Metro Offices’ motto and that’s exactly what you will find at our private workspaces in Dupont Circle. Each office design is unique and there are also office retreats for collaboration and brainstorming sessions – nothing is cookie-cutter.”

The shared goal of the team was to create a sense of community, contrast and surprise through design. The story of the space is naturally told as the corridor loops throughout the suite past private offices, experiencing higher activity in the shared amenity spaces, and passing retreat areas that add an element of surprise. The reception desk sits prominently in the central elevator lobby to offer hotel concierge hospitality to Metro Offices’ members and guests.

“I’m very proud of this project — our office space highlights a modern direction to help our clients attract and retain top talent. Our space features plenty of natural light and an open office space that addresses a healthy work/life balance,” said Kathlene Buchanan, Metro Offices CEO.

“For more than 30 years, Metro Offices has provided concierge level service to our clients and we encourage input from them on what they want in their office space. Whether full or part-time, our clients have the option of semi-private or fully furnished offices or can choose to reserve only a desk.”
