How To Create A Business Idea, part 2

How To Create A Business Idea, part 2

Last week I presented you with different ways to train your brain to find creative opportunities for business. Why? So that you can create a product, create your own home based business and be the boss of your work schedule! Once your business is off the ground, you can work in an office space for rent in Washington DC.

We want to help your business succeed so you can put your virtual office in DC to good use! Without further ado, below are four more ways to engage your creativity:

FIND A NICHE THAT’S BEEN IGNORED

Have you noticed an industry that hasn’t had anything new crop up in a while? Time to bring a fresh jolt to the market place with your new business idea!

MAKE A NEW VERSION OF AN OLD PRODUCT

This one is a no brainer. You don’t even need to reinvent the wheel. Just take a look at some existing products and see what you can do to alter them a bit. A great avenue to take with this idea is to create a cheaper version of something already being sold.

TALK TO CUSTOMERS

This is a surefire way to discover what desires need to be met. If you’re in the makeup industry and want to create different products, hang out in the aisles in drug stores or department stores and speak with women about what they want in a cosmetic product.

COMBINE TWO PRODUCTS INTO ONE

This sometimes is a huge disaster. But it also has the potential to perpetuate something big. Try combining any number of different products, making two into one. You never know what your brain will come up with!

What are you thoughts on these suggestions? Have any of you used the following tactics and seen positive results? We’d love to hear your comments!
